A lot of sites today have the ability for users to sign in to show them some sort of personalized content, whether its a forum, a news reader, or some e-commerce application. To simplify their users life they usually want to give them the ability to log on from any page of the Site they are currently looking at. For those of you who read my blog and don’t know (anybody out there?) I work for Notion Solutions. Today Notion announced v1.1 of the Notion Tools for Team System. In addition to a few bug fix, support in the primary tools (e.g., Timesheet and the Work Item Control Library) for VS 2005, we’ve added a new tool targeting prioritizing work based on business objectives and a web version of Timesheet for the non-Visual Studio users. Development and testing of this new release has been one of our team’s primary focuses over the past few months. We do all of our time tracking and much of our other planning and work item activities using it. If any of this sounds slightly interesting, check out the formal release: http://www.notionsolutions.com/Products/Pages/NotionToolsforTeamSystem.aspx It is relatively inexpensive and you can get free trials if you’re interested. Hope you enjoy the fruits of our labor!

Just got some news: tomorrow's Michael Jackson memorial is going to be broadcast live in 720p Smooth Streaming by Sympatico / MSN inMusic . The feed is originating from Canada, but is not georestricted! I think this is the first globally available Live HD Smooth Streaming event. The event kicks off at 10am Pacific Daylight Time (GMT -8). It will hopefully be up as on-demand for 24 hours after, but we're still confirming the rights for that. Check back tomorrow AM for any updates. P.S. The...( read more)
